The Seeds We Sow is about resilience, strength and renewal.
Australian seed pods are some of the toughest and most resilient structures in nature, yet there’s something beautiful about their weathered textures and unique shapes. Long after their colour has faded, they retain their character, enduring the elements while remaining just as striking. I wanted to capture that beauty in this piece, celebrating not only their strength but also the promise of new life held within their seeds.
Scattered seeds falling off plants and trees represent renewal, growth and the possibilities that come with change. A reminder that even the smallest beginnings can grow into something extraordinary.
With its dark, earthy palette, organic forms and intricate mark-making, The Seeds We Sow is both bold and grounding, honouring the strength and beauty found in nature’s cycles.
