For many years I have been drawn to mark making, organic forms, and the quiet simplicity found in Wabi Sabi design. Embracing imperfection, natural textures, and the passage of time, Wabi Sabi celebrates beauty in things that are authentic, weathered, and uniquely imperfect.
Marks of the Bush is my exploration of these ideas through an Australian lens. Layered with expressive marks, earthy tones, abstract forms, and native botanicals, this piece balances structure and spontaneity, creating a sense of calm, movement, and connection to nature.
